Why we started We Travel Cars
We Travel Cars was founded with a clear purpose: to provide safe, reliable and compassionate transport for children and young people who need more than just a journey from A to B. We recognised that many families, particularly those with children who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), rely on transport providers they can trust every single day. Consistency, understanding and communication are just as important as arriving on time.
Our goal is to give families confidence that their children are travelling with trained, caring professionals who understand individual needs and treat every passenger with dignity and respect. We know that a calm and positive journey can make a significant difference to a child's school day and to their family's peace of mind.
For councils, we aim to be a dependable long-term transport partner that delivers high standards of safeguarding, compliance and operational reliability. We invest in driver and passenger assistant training, maintaining our commitment to excellence.

We place a strong emphasis on recruitment, training and continuous development. Our team members receive training in safeguarding, disability awareness, communication, behaviour management, passenger assistance and customer service. We believe that technical compliance is essential.
